No Smoking Day campaign

Students from Harris Girls’ Academy East Dulwich developed and delivered health education activities for National No Smoking Day.

A stall was set up in the courtyard educating young people of the risks and costs of smoking alongside a range of practical activities such as experiencing what it is like to have emphysema.

This health education campaign links with the launch of a group of peer educators called the Tobacco Haters who have all successfully completed a training course which will equip them to continue the good work.
